Round two of the Enduro World Championship was contested at Fafe in Portugal over the weekend, where Australian Chris Hollis rode his factory Husqvarna to 10th on day one and 13th on day two, continuing to improve in his rookie European season.
Hollis now sits 13th in the world championship standings after two rounds, clawing back points after scoring 14-DNF results at Spain’s season opener earlier this month.
The small-bore E1 class, made up of 125cc two-strokes and 250cc four-strokes, was won by teammate Antoine Meo, while Ivan Cervantes won the 250cc two-stroke and 450cc four-stroke E2 class, and multi-time world champion David Knight took victory in the open E3 category.
The series will now move on to Lovere in Italy on 22-23 May.
