Upgraded new 450 and 250 models in line with Red Bull KTM team.
KTM has unveiled the 2025 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition and 250 SX-F Factory Edition production models, which are replicas of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing bikes set to be ridden by Chase Sexton, Aaron Plessinger, Tom Vialle, and Julien Beaumer in the upcoming AMA Supercross Championship.
The Factory Edition concept from KTM remains true to its roots – delivering a significantly upgraded version of the current production model, designed to bring riders as close as possible to a true factory-spec machine.
The 2025 line-up features dynamic, race-inspired graphics and allows riders to choose numbers tied to the pros, including Chase Sexton’s number four and Aaron Plessinger’s number seven on the KTM 450 SX-F Factory Editions, or 250SX East champion Tom Vialle’s number one plate on the KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition.
These bikes will be the final KTM Factory Editions of the current SX-F generation. At their core are compact, lightweight, and advanced single-cylinder engines, engineered for mass centralisation. Key developments in the cylinder, cylinder head, piston, and crankshaft deliver smooth, torque-rich, and reliable power with extended service intervals.
Both models boast a performance-focused motor package that includes an Akrapovic slip-on muffler, refined EMS, a 44mm Keihin throttle body, and Pankl Racing five-speed gearboxes with quickshifter functionality.
The chassis has been meticulously designed with a hydro-formed, laser-cut, and robot-welded steel frame optimised for precise longitudinal and torsional flex. This provides exceptional rider feedback, enhanced energy absorption, and confidence in cornering and straight-line stability under acceleration and braking.
The lightweight aluminium subframe complements the anti-squat concept for agile and effective handling. Paired with fully adjustable WP XACT suspension—featuring 48 mm AER split air forks and a tool-free dual-compression rear shock with increased ground clearance—the chassis ensures superior control across all terrains.
Additional highlights include a 7.2-litre fuel tank, an ergonomic rider triangle for optimal control and grip, and innovative features like tool-free air filter access and maintenance marks for quick servicing. Advanced technology includes engine mapping with traction and launch control, a Connectivity Unit Offroad for seamless customisation via the KTMConnect App, and a range of premium components such as Brembo clutch and brakes, DID wheels, Neken handlebars, and Dunlop Geomax MX34 tyres.
