GasGas has unleashed its 2025 MC motocross range, improving on the generation released one year ago – including a heavily updated chassis – in addition to introducing MC 300 and MC 150 two-strokes.

The revitalised line-up now features revised frames, motor mounts, swingarms, suspension settings, and linkages, in line with developments made by the GasGas Factory Racing teams over the past season.

In terms of the revised frame design, engineers have removed material around the upper shock mount, as well as reducing the thickness of the frame at the front. In addition to saving 300g, what’s more important is that these revisions were made to significantly improve handling, especially when entering corners, without sacrificing any straight-line stability.

New motor mounts further refine the frame’s flex characteristics with revised suspension settings introduced to complement the chassis changes and help elevate the riding experience.

A stronger air intake sleeve prevents it from flexing to maintain maximum airflow, while at the rear of each bike, the swingarm is updated to help with the durability of the chain slider, which is also made from a more durable material to boost longevity.

The linkage is now put together with new, lower friction SKF seals to help the WP rear shock perform just that little bit better. Plus, there’s also a smaller linkage bolt to reduce weight and to play a part in delivering the refined flex characteristics from the updated chassis.

Of the new two-strokes introduced, the 2025 GasGas MC 150 uses the foundations of the MC 125, but takes power and torque to a new level. And the same can be said for the MC 300, which is based on the versatile MC 250. Offering up plenty of power, it’ll be the super-useable torque curve that two-stroke fanatics will like most about it.

In all, the four-stroke line is made up of the MC 450F, MC 350F, and MC 250F, while the two-strokes now include an MC 300, MC 250, MC 150, and MC 125. Other new components include an updated rear brake pedal and caliper for improved durability – they have Braktec brakes front and rear, as well as a Braktec hydraulic clutch system.

The 2025 GasGas motocross bikes feature the WP XACT front fork with AER technology, paired with a WP XACT rear shock, while large footpegs, Neken handlebars, and an optional Map Select Switch (standard equipment on the 125 and 150) from the Technical Accessories catalogue includes launch control, traction control, and a quickshifter, alongside two maps.

A recently-released GasGas Connectivity Unit Offroad and GPS sensor are also available as Technical Accessories for all four-strokes, so once paired with a smartphone and the GASGAS+ app, riders can easily personalize engine performance and much more.
