Locations have been officially announced for the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) post-season, with Charlotte’s zMax Dragway and Texas Motor Speedway to host the playoffs before The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway takes centrestage for the SMX Finals.

The inaugural SMX titles were won by Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan last year, with two of the three venues to be newly-introduced this season.

Playoff 1 will take place on 7 September, at zMAX Dragway in North Carolina and Playoff 2 will take place on 14 September at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. The SMX World Championship Final will take place on 21 September at The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas.

“Last year, we created a completely new off-road motorcycle racing playoff series that combined both disciplines of indoor stadium racing and outdoor motocross racing that was fully embraced by the teams, athletes, industry and fans,” said Dave Prater, vice president of Supercross, Feld Motor Sports.

“Collectively, more than 110,000 fans from all over the world made their way here to attend the inaugural three round SMX World Championship playoffs and final and for the first time in the sport’s history witnessed the crowning of a true world champion. The SuperMotocross World Championship is where the world comes to race.”

SMX is a combination of the 17-round Monster Energy Supercross Championship and 11 rounds of the Pro Motocross Championship, which take place prior to the three-event playoffs and finals series at the end of the season.

Tickets for the SuperMotocross World Championship playoff rounds and final will go on pre-sale, Tuesday, 2 April, followed by public on-sale Tuesday, 9 April. Friday FanFest, Saturday FanFest and camping options for each round and venue will be announced later in the season.
