Championship to commence in Roma at the beginning of March.
Locations for the 2024 Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) have been locked in by Motorcycling Australia (MA), including an update to the previously-announced date of the opening round.
Roma in Queensland will open the six-event, 12-round season from 9-10 March, followed by a pair of rounds in Victoria – Mount Misery and Edenhope – across April and May.
The season will take a two-month break before resuming at Queensland Moto Park in late July, with South Australia to follow in August at a venue yet to be revealed. The series will conclude with Nowra, New South Wales, on 14-15 September.
“Now that we’ve locked in the dates and venues for 2024, we can look forward to the championship build-up and of course the kick-off in Roma,” said MA CEO Peter Doyle.
“The quality and depth of talent in the AORC continues to increase year after year, with riders pushing each other to the limit across some of the most amazing Aussie terrain. A championship victory in AORC is always hard-fought and that will certainly be the case again in 2024.”
