Nitro Circus Live will make its worldwide debut in capital cities around Australia in May and June, today announcing the greatest line up of action sport stars ever assembled – performing never before seen tricks and stunts in the most spectacular live action sports show ever produced according to a press release from tour organisers Global Action Sports.
Joining 14 times X Games medalist, Travis Pastrana will be current Freestyle Motocross X Games gold medalist Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams, current X Games skateboard Big Air gold medalist Jake Brown and BMX X Games gold medalist Chad Kagy.
Williams and Brown are both Australian and have never performed together in their home country.

– Steve McCann (AUS): Australian BMX star who is one of the best riders in the world and a multiple X Games medalist as well as a Dew Tour winner
– Jolene Van Vugt (CAN): Nitro Circus TV star and arguably the craziest woman in the world. She is a world-class motocross racer and is fearless – she will be attempting three world firsts in the live shows
– Cam Sinclair (AUS): One of the world’s best FMX riders and the only rider in the world successfully completing the double back flip
– Kain Saul (AUS): Winner of the 2008 Australasian FMX Championship
– Erik Roner (USA): Nitro Circus TV star and world-class extreme skier who has combined his passion for B.A.S.E. jumping to produce some incredible stunts
– Jim DeChamp (USA): Nitro Circus TV star and professional mountain bike downhill racer / freestyle rider. DeChamp and Pastrana have a very collaborative relationship where they dream up all sorts of stunts
– Streetbike Tommy (USA): Hugely popular funny man of the Nitro Circus crew
– Dusty Wiggle (USA): Pro mini bike rider who holds the world record for the longest distance jumped on a mini bike
– Steve Mini (AUS): Known as the FMX combination king
– Jackson Strong (AUS): Top Australian FMX rider who has the record for the youngest rider to perform a back flip on a motorbike
– Michael ‘Chucky’ Norris (AUS): One of Australia’s top FMX riders
– Rob Adelberg (AUS): Winner of the 2008 Red Bull X-Ray event who has the biggest FMX backflip variations in the sport
– Andy Buckworth (AUS): Up and coming Australian BMX star with a huge trick repertoire
– Chris Haffey (USA): World’s number one roller blader with the biggest trick repertoire on the planet
– Andrew Brousard (USA): World’s number one RAZR scooter rider
– Aaron Fotheringham (USA): Inspirational professional wheelchair athlete and first ever to attempt to ride the mega ramp
– Fred Grzybowski (USA): – Professional Pogo stick rider
Not only will all the stars be performing the biggest tricks in their chosen disciplines, they will also be pushing their limits and skill on a range of crazy contraptions on the amazing set up, which includes a 50 foot Nitro Mega ramp built into the stadiums seating. This will be the first time ever that a mega ramp has been built and performed on in Australia.
“There has never been a line up like this assembled anywhere in the world and all of the performers are pumped to be touring together. The creative and death-defying stunts these guys can perform are completely mind blowing,” said Global Action Sports managing director Michael Porra.
“Australian fans will be the first in the world to see this tour. Travis and the Nitro Circus crew are the most talented and crazy action sports stars in the world and for the first time ever two Australians, Bilko and Jake, are world number one in FMX and skateboarding and have the opportunity to perform in front of their home crowd as current champions,” concluded Porra.
The Nitro Circus Live tour has already set records as the fastest selling action sports tour ever, with over 65,000 tickets already sold prior to the lineup being announced and with four months to go before the first show.
Nitro Circus Live will hit Australian shores in May and June next year with the first ever show to be held in Brisbane at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 7-8 May with a third show to go on sale this Sunday 7 February, followed by the Acer Arena in Sydney 14-15 May, the Burswood Dome in Perth 22 May, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre 28-29 May and the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne 5-6 June.
