New additions and a number of movements within teams for this year.
Another group of riders have been confirmed as part of the 2023 World Supercross Championship (WSX), with a list of movements within existing team line-ups made official.
A new addition to WSX will be Colt Nichols at Rick Ware Racing in the WSX class alongside Joey Savatgy, while defending SX2 world champion Shane McElrath will be joined by the returning Henry Miller.
There’s been a shakeup at MotoConcepts with Cole Seely stepping up to WSX alongside team mainstay Vince Friese, with veteran Mike Alessi to ride SX2 with Mitchell Oldenburg.
Fire Power Honda has in turn signed Justin Brayton – the pair previously winning five-straight Australian championships together and completing an AMA season together in 2021 – for WSX with Dean Wilson. Its SX2 effort will be led by Max Anstie after a breakout US campaign this year.
Honda Nils has a new look SX2 roster in Chris Blose alongside another new signing to the series in Kyle Peters, as Jordi Tixier is the team’s lone 450 rider announced so far.
ClubMX has a new line-up featuring Matt Moss – originally signed to MDK Motorsports – with Luke Neese in WSX, as Enzo Lopes and Cole Thompson will lead the American program’s SX2 entry. MDK Motorsports has signed Cade Clason for WSX and Justin Bogle for SX2.
