Iconic Australian ProMX Championship team CDR Yamaha Monster Energy will adopt the new-for-2023 livery used by Monster Energy Yamaha team globally in the upcoming season, which marks a milestone 30th anniversary year for Craig Dack Racing (CDR).

Officially launched prior to the San Diego round of Monster Energy Supercross, which Dack was present for, the global livery features on Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing in the US, the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP team and Monster Energy Yamaha in MotoGP.

“To not only stay in business for 30 years as a racer and then transition into a team owner/manager is a real testament to the riders, staff, sponsors and partners who have been a part of the CDR journey,” CDR Yamaha Monster Energy team owner Dack explained. “We remain as motivated, competitive and dedicated as were on day one.

“For those 30 years, Yamaha Australia, Fox, Pro Circuit, Dunlop and, more recently Monster Energy have been there and provided the backbone of the team and we are proud to say the relationship with those companies is just as strong today. We have plenty of things to celebrate in 2023 and will have a range of things covering our 30 years throughout the season.

“And I feel we are as well placed as any year with a great rider line-up featuring the current ProMX champion, Aaron Tanti and 2021 champ, Luke Clout. Both riders are in the prime of their careers and we look forward to working with both of them in a year that will be full of milestones for CDR Yamaha.”

Reigning MX1 champion Aaron Tanti enters the upcoming season in search of his second premier class title, and like teammate Luke Clout will have his charge boosted by the new generation 2023 model Yamaha YZ450F. Their official debut will take place this Sunday at Wonthaggi’s opening round of Penrite ProMX in Victoria.
