Monster Energy has stepped up again in 2010 with a multi-year agreement as title sponsor of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, beginning with the popular 17-race championship opener today at Anaheim’s Angel Stadium in California.
With household action sports names like Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart, all of whom won championships running the Monster Energy M-claw logo, Monster’s long-standing association with the sport of Supercross remains unparalleled in the energy drink industry.
“More than just a sponsor, Monster Energy, with its iconic logo, massive stable of professional and amateur-sponsored athletes and the legions Monster Army members make for an incredible partnership with Feld Motor Sports and Supercross,” said Charlie Mancuso, president of Feld Motor Sports. “Monster Energy delivers a highly loyal following that’s already well-versed in action sports and very much in tune with the sport of Supercross.
“Feld Motor Sports, for the third-straight year, welcomes Monster Energy back on board as the title sponsor of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship.”
Monster Energy supports motorsports around the world. From the success of Formula 1 World Champion Jenson Button and 2009 MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi, Monster Energy is enjoying a level of popularity and exponential growth from all points of the planet.
The energy drink’s growth is most apparent with Monster Energy’s taking over of the number one by-volume energy drink sales, thanks much to the hard-driving stake it claims in the competition dirt bike industry (Monster Energy/Kawasaki, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki and Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green), along with a stable of core board sports and bicycle athletes that command the king’s share of medals at events such as the ESPN X Games and AST Dew Tour.
“Action sports all meet together at the top with Monster Energy Supercross,” commented Monster Energy president Mark Hall. “We look forward to partnering again this year with Feld Motor Sports and wish all of the amazing athletes that contest Monster Energy Supercross the best of luck and a safe and successful 2010 competition season.”
