Seventh retained for Australia following ISDE day three

Great Britain continue to lead at halfway point of 2022 event.

Day three of the 2022 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) saw Australia retain P7 in the World Trophy (WT) as the Junior World Trophy Team (JWT) moved to third.

Leading Australia’s WT charge at Le Puy En Velay was Daniel Milner who posted the 10th quickest time outright, which was third fastest in E1.

Team Australia was again P7 for day three, with the quartet of Milner, Waters, Green and Wilksch setting a time of 2h33m15.16s, with Great Britain the team to beat courtesy of a  2h27m17.19s. The combined times at the halfway point see Australia 14m27.08s from Great Britain who continue to lead the WT classification.

Australia’s JWT Team of Kyron Bacon, Korey McMahon and Blake Hollis continue to impress, finishing day three third and less than a minute from leaders Team Italy. The result elevated the Australian trio to P3 in the JWT classification after three days.

In the Women’s World Trophy, Jess Gardiner, Emelie Karlsson and Ebony Nielsen maintained P4 overall for Team Australia with a fourth-place finish for the day. They are just over a minute from France in third on the combined times.

Italy’s Andrea Verona was the fastest outright on the third day, as Josep Garcia (Spain) leads the outright classification with three days remaining.
