Includes option to continue in Pro Motocross next season.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed the extension of Cooper Webb through the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross season, with the option of competing in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross next year.
The 26-year-old will enter his fifth season with the squad in 2023, and has achieved two 450SX titles with the team, in 2019 and 2021.
“I am excited to continue my relationship with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team and I’m really looking forward to going after a third AMA 450 class Supercross championship together next season,” Webb explained.
Following a challenging title defence this year in Supercross where he was unable to land a main event victory with the 2022 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition, Webb will be looking to rebound with an uplift in form next season.
He decided to sit out 2022 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross altogether in a bid to regain full fitness ahead of 2023 and returned to Baker’s Factory mid-season, which will continue into next year.
