On-track with the latest generation TLD SE Pro line and Air gloves.

Troy Lee Designs continues to push the forefront of innovation with stylish, functional and high-performing racewear, the SE Pro gear set and Air glove being no exceptions. We Tested it just recently to break down that performance.
The SE Pro fall line is premium racewear built for serious racers, boasting many top of the line features to help maximize performance at the track.
It was my first time using TLD gear and immediately I felt comfortable. Both the jersey and pant felt super lightweight and fitted me really well. The quatro/navy red color combo matched nicely with the new Yamaha range and, overall, the gear set just looked clean.
The SE Pro jersey was really soft and had some stretch thanks to its four-way stretch and TLD Dura Mesh fabric. When you are riding it barely feels like you are wearing the jersey – there’s nothing worse than having friction while riding.
In addition, the SE Pro pant provided plenty of manoeuvrability with a TLD dura tech and TLD perf stretch woven fabric that allows unrestricted movement on the bike. The pant also features a great venting system, throughout the day I never felt like I had too much heat inside of the gear.
Notably, the inside knee leather panels allowed for great grip on the bike, making it easier to maneuver and, thanks to the ratchet waist adjustment system, the SE Pro pant could be adjusted to find the perfect fit with ease.
Using the TLD Air gloves, which were really impressive and comfortable, I noticed right away while riding that they were super-lightweight and vented really well thanks to their micro-mesh ventilation.
The Air gloves moulded to my hand and I felt no extra movement around my hands and fingers, while the top velcro closure worked a treat and allows for tailored comfort in how tight you prefer your gloves.
What I really enjoyed was the pieces of silicone print over the palm area as well as on the fingertips, it gave me that extra bit of grip to really feel my levers and throttle to maximise my control of the bike.
Overall, I was genuinely impressed with the whole TLD SE Pro gear set, I felt extremely comfortable and it looked the part both on and off the bike. For further information on the TLD moto range, visit the site of Australian distributor Lusty Industries at www.lustyindustries.com.
