Round three of WESS Enduro World Championship shelved altogether.
The iconic Red Bull Erzbergrodeo has been cancelled for 2020 as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic that has brought to sport to a standstill.
Doubling as round three of the WESS Enduro World Championship, the Austrian event scheduled for 11-14 June won’t be staged at a later date.
Regarded as one of the world’s premier off-road motorcycle competitions, the Erzbergrodeo annually attracts 1800 riders from 40 nations to the Iron Giant.
The cancellation follows a recent decision made by the Austrian government. While they intend to ease certain restrictions regarding their COVID-19 lockdown measures, no mass gathering events will be permitted until July at the earliest.
This information follows the postponement of Extreme XL Lagares to 2-4 October and the recent cancellation of Trefle Lozerien AMV that was due to take place between 21-23 May.
