With the final two rounds of the MX Nationals at his home track in Coolum, on Queenslands Sunshine Coast, MPE Husqvarna supported MX1 racer, Jesse Dobson is confident of a strong finish to the season aboard his FC450 this weekend. Placed inside the top ten, Dobson is looking to secure his final position further up the leader board, alongside Australia’s most well supported, and fastest motocross racers.

Jesse Dobson: “I’m confident that I can do well this weekend. With five races across both Saturday and Sunday, it’s going to be important to get off the line strong, an area that I’ve been working on in the second half of the year. I’ve had the speed at almost every round, but unless you’re at the front, it’s tough to move forward, and it forces you to make mistakes. This weekend for me will be all about good starts and riding smart. I like riding sand tracks like Coolum, I know I can be at the front of the field and I’m determined to get my best results of the year here.”

Round nine of the championship, held on Saturday, August third will. see the MX1 class race in back-to-back sprint races before a final 16-lap moto to finish the round before riders return to the circuit on Sunday morning for the tenth and final round of the season. The 450 class will round out the season with two traditional 16-lap moto’s sealing the final championship positions for 2019.
