DPH Motorsport press release:
Round two of the Australian Supercross Championship descends onto Port Adelaide this weekend as Todd Waters (FC450) and Wilson Todd (FC250) look to improve on their round one results with the DPH Motorsport Husqvarna Factory racing team. With nine lanes and multiple combinations of obstacles, the DPH crew are excited to go racing.
Dale Hocking, DPH Husqvarna team owner: “We got through round one with some points, and the guys have had some more time to recover and ride, so I’m happy with the position we’re in. We have the best equipment in the paddock, and I know our riders have what it takes. The track is a little more open this weekend, with more passing opportunities, and will be great to watch. With a more traditional format of one final, it’s shaping up to be a great night of racing.”
Wilson Todd, SX2 – FC250: “I’m still in a bit of pain when I ride, but I feel good on the bike. It’s going to important this weekend for me to stay on the bike, try to not make mistakes, and be consistent each lap. I have the speed, I just need to keep it together and put some solid races together and keep claiming points.”
Todd Waters, SX1 – FC450: “The hands are coming along ok actually. I’m able to ride and put good laps in, and with the track being a little longer, it gives us some room to recover if we do make a small mistake or two. I’m really looking forward to getting on-track and going racing. 2019 has been a great year on the bike for me, I love riding the Husky, I’m having fun and hopefully you’ll see me on the podium on Saturday night.”
