DPH Motorsport Husqvarna has released a statement on Kade Mosig’s provisional suspension, which has forced him out of the Pirelli MX Nationals’ mid-stages.

Mosig, 28, confirmed on Friday evening that he has ‘been provisionally suspended from racing until further notice’, however a specific reason is yet to be clarified by Motorcycling Australia (MA).

In its first season operating as Husqvarna Motorcycles Australia’s factory motocross team, DPH’s MX1 entry Mosig has stood on the podium three times and is the only rider to have defeated runaway points leader Dean Ferris in a moto. He’s currently fourth in the standings.

“We received notification from MA that Kade has been provisionally suspended from racing and it’s gutted us as a team,” DPH Motorsport team owner Dale Hocking stated. “The guys have worked tirelessly to prepare the bikes for both Dylan [Wills] and Kade to fire in this weekend’s double-header and now we leave one bike in the truck.

“We are a team though and it’s a race weekend, so now it’s time to focus our attention to Dylan and helping him to retain the momentum he’s been building in recent rounds and we can look further into Kade’s suspension when more information is available in the coming weeks.”

Current national number three Mosig’s provisional suspension drops the DPH Motorsport team to a single rider in MX2 regular Dylan Wills for this weekend’s seventh and eighth rounds of the championship at Ranch MX in New South Wales.
