Monster Energy Kawasaki’s has called in Tyler Bowers to replace the injured Josh Grant from this weekend’s eighth round of 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Tampa, Florida.

Bowers has been impressive through the season so far on-board a privateer KX450F, currently 17th in the standings with a best finish of P14 at Anaheim 1 and San Diego.

Grent is due to undergo surgery today on his fractured leg sustained in Arlington last weekend, however a return to action is yet to be scheduled at this point. He was ninth in the standings prior to going out with injury.
