The Maxxis EnduroGP World Championship will return to a more traditional format for 2018 following a recent announcement that included the calendar of events for next year’s championship.

In the 2017 series that was wrapped up in Germany over the weekend, a premier EnduroGP and E2 class were hosted throughout the eight rounds, however for 2018, the E1 (up to 250cc two-stroke and four-stroke), E2 (250cc plus four-stroke and up to 450cc four-stroke) and E3 (250cc plus two-stroke and 450cc plus four-stroke) divisions will return for individual championship status.

The EnduroGP title will remain, with the winner determined by overall rankings from the three listed classes. The move comes after meetings with manufacturers, teams and riders in the series.

The series is slated to expand to nine rounds in 2018, with dates locked in aside from the French round in July, which is still to be determined along with it’s specific venue.

Rd2 – 27-29 April – Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
Rd3 – 4-6 May – Castelo Branco, Portugal.
Rd4 – 1-3 June – Tallinn, Estonia.
Rd5 – 30 June – The Wall (Arco di Trento), Italy.
Rd6 – TBA July – TBA, France.
Rd7 – 31 August-2 September – Edolo, Italy.
Rd8 – 22-23 September – Hawkstone Park, United Kingdom.
Rd9 – 12-14 October – Woltersdorf, Germany.
