Privateer team supporting suicide prevention at New South Wales round.
KSF Racing has revealed the team will sport a R U OK? livery this weekend at Port Macquarie’s eighth round of the Motul MX Nationals in an effort to raise awareness for suicide prevention.
The organisation’s mission is to inspire and empower people to meaningfully connect with everyone around them and support anyone struggling with life.
KSF Racing team manager Mark Paterson commented on the team’s decision to support the charity, explaining he wants the the racing community to realise that the power of conversation can have a significant impact on people.
“We want the motocross community to realise the powerful consequences of talking to someone,” said Paterson. “A meaningful conversation can save lives. So as a team, KSF Racing has dedicated this round to really help raise awareness within our sport and the age demographic of many fans.
“Asking ‘are you okay?’ can make a big difference in someone’s life. We will have our senior race team and our development riders all using the R U OK kits to make a big impact this weekend.”
Keiron Hall, Dylan Wills and MXD contender Kane Fischer will run the special livery on their Husqvarna’s this Sunday as the Australian motocross championship heads into its final stages. For more information on R U OK?, visit www.ruok.org.au.
