Motorcycling Australia (MA) has announced that the prologue has been removed from the 2017 Yamaha Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE), which will take place in Toowoomba, Queensland, on 26-30 September.

The prologue has served as the seeding order system for the event since 2012, however this year will see the order determined at preceding A4DE or Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) rounds.

As a result, MA has recommended that competitors planning to contest the A4DE this year enter one or more rounds of the current AORC season as results will be used as a guide to seed riders for the upcoming A4DE.
