DPH racers ready for the challenge

DPH Motorsport press release:

With Round 2 of the MX Nationals upon us this weekend at Appin, around an hour south west of Sydney, DPH Motorsport’s Kade Mosig is looking to confirm his position as a title contender in the hugely talented MX1 field.

“I was really happy with round 1, I proved to myself that when I feel good, I will be where I want to be, and it also gave me some area’s to work on in training to continue to improve” an upbeat Mosig said today.

The team has used their time wisely, fine tuning bikes and suspension thanks to Krooztune and Eibach Australia to ensure the privateer outfit gives both riders the best possible chance as the series moves to a track not often ridden by both Mosig or Todd.

“Appin represents a challenge to both guys, that I think they’re both ready for, in that there’s no home ground advantage here for Kade or Wilson. They’ve raced here before, but it’s not a track they get to ride often, and if they do well here, I think it will show that both our riders are true title contenders in 2017” Team owner Dale Hocking stated.

Wilson Todd, in what’s become typical for the QLD youngster since moving to Victoria to be closer to the team, has been focused on just 3 things since round 1: Eating, Sleeping & Training.

“I’ve found that being away from home has helped me to really focus on my goal of improving my riding. I know that I have what it takes to be up front, it’s where I want to be in every race. It’s no secret that I want to be a World Champion, and the first step is to be ahead of the pack in Australia which is no easy task” says Wilson.

If the first round is any indication, we’re going to see one of the most closely contended MX1 & MX2 championships in memory and DPH Motorsport is excited to be the only team representing racers at the front of both classes!

If you’re Sydney based, head to Brian Rd, Appin on Sunday April 23. Racing starts at 8:30am with tickets at the gate!
