Team France led the way on day one of the 2016 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations at Maggiora in Italy, after all three riders displayed commanding performances in their qualifying heats to position themselves on pole. The Belgian team followed in second, while The Netherlands concluded the top three in third.
