KTM Factory Motocross Racing’s Caleb Ward will take part in the final round of the 2016 FIM World Motocross Championship next weekend at Glen Helen Raceway in the United States of America.

The 19-year-old confirmed he will contest the weekend aboard a factory Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM 250 SX-F, however it will be fitted with his personal parts to ensure that he is adequately prepared for the event.

“I’ll be under the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM rig for the weekend and on one of their bikes, but obviously I’ll be taking my own suspension, triple clamps and bars over there,” Ward confirmed to MotoOnline.com.au.

The USGP will see the KTM-mounted rider race on the world stage for the first time in his professional career, although the opportunity will interrupt his preparations ahead of the Australian Supercross Championship opener scheduled to take place on 17 September.

Ward, who made the initial announcement via his social media accounts, will board a flight to the USA tomorrow.
