Italy, Germany and Great Britain confirm 2016 squads.
Teams from Italy, Germany and Great Britain have now been finalised ahead of next month’s 2016 Motocross of Nations at Maggiora, Italy, on 24-25 September.
Host nation Italy will be looking to win its first MXoN since 2002, as multiple world champion Antonio Cairoli (MXGP) rejoins the squad alongside Samuele Bernardini (MX2) and Michele Cervellin (Open).
Germany won’t feature newly-crowned Pro Motocross champion Ken Roczen as he’s expected to be moving to Honda for 2017, instead fielding Max Nagl (MXGP), Henry Jacobi (MX2) and Dennis Ullrich (Open).
As for Great Britain, Tommy Searle (MXGP), Max Anstie (MX2) and Shaun Simpson (Open) will form the team after American-based Dean Wilson was overlooked in the selections.
