National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki rider back on track.
National Pump Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Kade Mosig will line up for this weekend’s Murray Bridge Motul MX Nationals round fit and ready to race after bowing out of Broadford’s final MX1 moto due to a collision with another rider.
Under an injury cloud following round three with rumours of a fractured pelvis circulating, the Victorian has confirmed it was a much less severe injury and his recovery has gone to plan.
“I took quite a big hit to the back and tore my abductor muscle,” said Mosig. “But I’ve recovered really well and I’m ready for Murray Bridge.”
Dropping to ninth overall in the premier class standings after his Broadford mishap, Mosig admits he has some work ahead of him in order to turn his season around.
“Despite a perfect pre-season, this year hasn’t gone to plan and after dropping a moto at Broadford I’ve got to claw my way back up the ladder,” he added. “We’ll keep trying to improve every week and build as we go.”
Mosig currently sits 60 points behind MX1 series leader Dean Ferris with seven rounds remaining on the 2016 schedule.
