Dates and locations of the 17-round series unveiled.
The 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, calendar has been announced, with three new races added to the 17-round scheduled including a return to a pair of familiar stadiums.
Once again Anaheim 1 opens the season on 7 January, before competing across 18 weeks to complete the series duration. The series will return to Minneapolis, Seattle and Salt Lake City next year.
“We eagerly anticipate the return to key markets like Minneapolis, Seattle and Salt Lake City that have such a strong legacy in Monster Energy Supercross, continuing the growth of the sport to more major markets where we can deliver a world-class fan experience live at the race or via our broadcasts on FOX Sports,” stated Feld Motor Sport’s Todd Jendro.
Making way for the three returning cities – Minneapolis the lone new stadium – on the calendar will be Foxborough following just one visit this season, as well as Santa Clara and a second visit to San Diego that we saw earlier this year.
