Multiple injuries confirmed for factory Kawasaki pilot.
Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Wil Hahn is recovering from a list of injuries sustained at the Atlanta round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross last weekend, facing a lengthy stint on the sidelines as he heals.
Hahn has announced he suffered a dislocated shoulder, as well as a broken collarbone, scapula and torn labrum in the violent crash also involving Andrew Short and Phil Nicoletti.
“Flew straight to Dr. Ting from ATL, he was able to pop my shoulder back in,” Hahn confirmed via Instagram. “And we also saw that I broke my collarbone, scapula and tore my labrum. Soon as the swelling goes down, doc is going to operate on the collarbone and dial in my labrum. We will do everything in my power to be back racing as soon as I can be. Thanks to the Asterisk medical crew for always taking care of us.”
BTOSports.com KTM’s Short is ‘banged up’ and suffered a concussion, but avoided extensive injury in the incident, while Autotrader/Monster Energy/Yamaha replacement rider Nicoletti is undergoing an MRI on his knee this week for precautionary measures.
