DPH Yamaha Motorsports are excited to announce that Jed Beaton will be joining the team aboard the YZ250 in 2016. After riding for Serco Yamaha in 2015, Beaton was not resigned for a second year and was looking to ride as part of his own privateer set up tin 2016.

“I am really excited to join DPH. Before this opportunity came up I didn’t have a team and was looking to do my own thing. Joining DPH so close to the season is awesome and I cannot wait to start”. said Beaton.

Beaton impressed in his first year of senior racing, holding the championship lead in the MXD category, before his campaign was cut short due to a leg injury sustained during practice prior to round nine.

Beaton came back to win a number of rounds in 2015 in the MX2 class and has not looked back since.

It has been an interesting 48 hours for the DPH Yamaha Motorsports team after receiving news that Hunter would no longer be part of the team late Monday. Hunter had been announced as part of the three-rider line up for the team only weeks earlier so his sudden departure came as a shock to all.

DPH Motorsports begin their assault on the 2016 Motocross Championship at Round 1 in Horsham, VIC in April.
