New generation medium to soft tyres released by Pirelli.
Pirelli has introduced its latest generation of its most successful tyre, the Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft, designed for medium to soft terrain.
Braking and cornering behaviour, as well as traction in the holeshot and exiting corners, are the improved aspects Pirelli has focused on compared to the predecessor.
Developed through decades of experience on the Motocross World Championship stage, this latest generation tyre is the result of extensive research, innovation, and the contributions of some of the sport’s top riders, like Stefan Everts, Antonio Cairoli, Tim Gajser and Jorge Prado.
One of the most notable improvements in the new Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft is its enhanced braking behaviour. The front tyre features a redesigned tread pattern with an updated shape and arrangement of the central knobs, increasing stability and allowing better penetration into the ground. This results in improved grip and control under braking.
Cornering is also smoother and more controlled, thanks to the structure of the front tyre’s central knobs. These changes enhance stability and handling, allowing riders to take on turns with greater speed and precision. Additionally, acceleration and traction have been improved. The rear tyre now features an updated side knob design that increases torsional rigidity and precision, while the lateral arrangement of the knobs enhances grip during lean angles.
Pirelli has also focused on versatility, ensuring that the Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft performs exceptionally well on medium-hard terrain. The updated tread compound improves wear regularity, while the refined shape and arrangement of the knobs provide better resistance to tearing. This results in consistent performance and durability, even in varying track conditions.
The latest Pirelli Scorpion MX32 Mid Soft tyres released for 2025 are offered in a front size, along with four rear size options. Pirelli is distributed in Australia by Link International.
