A four-rider roster will signal an expanded KTM Racing Team roster for the 2025 ProMX Championship, headlined by Nathan Crawford and Kirk Gibbs in MX1, alongside Byron Dennis and Noah Ferguson in MX2.

The move effectively comes after the group has opted to park its former GasGas Racing Team, shifting both Gibbs and Dennis across to SX-F machinery for the new season. Both brands had instead featured two riders last year.

While Crawford is returning for his fourth term with his team and 2015 title-winner Gibbs has been reunited with KTM after a single season in red, both Dennis and Ferguson are new additions to the KTM Racing Team.

Previously part of the GasGas program in 2023, Ferguson is returning to the Austrian manufacturer after a mixed year at Honda Racing, and he returns in place of Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing-bound Kayden Minear, who will compete as an amateur in the US this season.

“KTM is committed to helping riders reach their full potential and our 2025 line-up reflects that – a perfect balance of experience and emerging talent,” said KTM Group Australia motorsport manager, Kyle Blunden. “The entire team embodies what it means to be Ready To Race. From our MX1 leaders Nathan and Kirk, to the exciting MX2 duo of Noah and Byron, and Jackson [Fuller]s’s bright future in MX3, we’re ready to tackle the 2025 season.”

KTM Junior Racing Team graduate Jackson Fuller – the current 125cc 15 Years Australian Junior Motocross Champion – will focus on the MX3 category in the ProMX series with the full support of the KTM Racing Team in 2025.

The decision to close the factory-operated GasGas Racing Team program is in line with Pierer Mobility’s wider strategy in focusing on the KTM brand in the MXGP World Championship, without a formal GasGas presence. Raceline will continue to operate the outsourced Husqvarna Racing Team this season.
