Tune into the broadcast as international event returns to Marvel Stadium tonight.
It’s go-time for the 2024 AUSX Open Melbourne, to be broadcast live tonight on Kayo Freebies and Fox Sports in Australia from 6:30pm local time (AEDT). International viewers can tune in via Sky Sport (NZ) and MAVTV (USA/Int).
With the Lawrence brothers – Jett and Hunter – making a historic homecoming this weekend alongside two-time Monster Energy AMA 450SX champion Cooper Webb, it’s expected to be the biggest event in AUSX history.
Tonight will also see the 2024 Fox Australian Supercross Championships (AUSX) crowned, where Honda Racing teammates Joey Savatgy and Shane McElrath hold the red plates coming into the decider.
This afternoon it was Jett Lawrence who qualified his Team Honda HRC Progressive CRF450R in P1 ahead of Matt Moss (CDR Yamaha Monster Energy) and Savatgy, with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Webb third and Savatgy fourth. SX2 was led by McElrath ahead of teammate Cole Thompson and Ryder Kingsford (Yamalube Yamaha Racing).
