Yamalube Yamaha Racing rider Kaleb Barham will be back behind the gates in MX2 at Toowoomba for what is his home race on the Penrite ProMX schedule.

Barham missed Murray Bridge with a hand injury of sorts, but has managed to make a return in time for the first of three Queensland rounds to close out season 2024.

“After missing the last round with a hand injury, Toowoomba local, Kaleb Barham wasn’t missing his hometown race and has been back in the saddle for a couple of weeks in preparation for this event,” the pre-event preview confirmed. “Barham is determined to give the locals something to cheer about and is motivated for a huge weekend of racing in front of friends and family.”

The addition of Barham’s takes Yamalube Yamaha Racing back to three riders for round six, lining up alongside Ryder Kingsford and Jayce Cosford in Yamaha’s official MX2 program. Despite missing South Australia, Barham is currently ninth in the point-standings.
