Kyle Webster will line up with backing from Peter Adderton’s MobileX brand in his guest starts as part of the Fire Power Honda team in AMA Pro Motocross at Southwick and RedBud.

Webster currently leads the Australian MX1 championship after winning four of five rounds in the 2024 season, where he rides with Boost Mobile – the Australian company also founded by Adderton – as his primary backer at Honda Racing.

“Motocross is exciting, fast, and about as limitless as it gets in motorsport,” MobileX founder and CEO Adderton commented. “It’s a pastime enjoyed by many Americans and a lifestyle choice.

“MobileX isn’t just the most cost-efficient wireless service, it’s a lifestyle brand that people are passionate about. Motocross personifies our ethos of expression, freedom, and adventure. We aren’t just redefining how people connect, we are also powering dreams.”

It was revealed directly following last Sunday’s Murray Bridge round of the ProMX season that Webster would be trying his hand in American competition for the first time. He shook down his CRF450R during press day at Southwick this afternoon.

MobileX has been prominent supporter of Australians crossing over into the United States, previously with Supercars drivers Brodie Kostecki (Indianapolis 2023) and Will Brown (Sonoma 2024) in NASCAR Cup Series guest appearances. That same type of opportunity has been extended to Webster through the Boost Mobile ties of Yarrive Konsky’s international Honda program.

“I’m interested to see where Kyle’s speed is at against some of the best riders in the world,” said Konsky. “He’s riding exceptionally well in Australia. We are equally excited about the new alliance with MobileX – they are changing the way people connect.”

Fire Power Honda will make its first official start outdoors this weekend since lining up at RedBud in 2022 with Max Anstie, with Monster Energy Supercross team regular Dean Wilson set to join Webster next weekend at round six of the Pro Motocross season.
