Latest enduro line includes addition of EC 450F and EC 500F models.
The all-new 2024 GasGas EC range has been uncovered, with the latest generation line featuring new EC 450F and EC 500F models among its six-strong line-up of off-road machines.
So easy and so much fun to ride. That’s what makes the new generation of GasGas enduro bikes so competitive! Spicing up the riding experience on the trails and through every extreme section, these new bikes are sure to provide a tonne of fun every time out.
For 2024, the brand continues to charge forward in its off-road line-up, starting with the potent and playful EC 250 two-stroke, all the way through to the big-bore EC 500F four-stroke. The range is sure to have something for all types of riders to have a blast.
Each GasGas features a new steel frame, new aluminium sub-frame and a new die-cast aluminium swingarm, all designed to amplify both agility and stability where it counts.
New bodywork not only makes these bikes easy on the eye, but boasts a refined rider triangle which gives larger contact areas so riders can better grip the bike for improved control.
Every GasGas enduro model is equipped with WP XPLOR front forks with open cartridge, now a little longer, assembled with new settings, and remain easily adjustable by hand. New forged triple clamps also feature, and a new steering stem that offers a little more flex for improved comfort.
Additionally, each bike features a WP XACT rear shock with rear linkage, which is shorter and lighter, yet retaining 300mm of travel. The WP XACT shock features a new piston for improved comfort.
In line with the current KTM and Husqvarna Motorcycles ranges from Pierer Mobility, all 2024 models are now powered by new, lighter motors, all producing more usable torque.
Bringing the EC 250 and EC 300 up to date, Throttle Body Injection makes sure the motors run clean, crisp, and create strong power throughout the rev range. The two strokes also feature a new electronic exhaust control, improving durability while boosting torque.
Electric start on all models ensures each bike fires into life with the simple press of the electric start button, while in addition, there’s the high-performance Braktec hydraulic clutch system, unique Braktec brakes with updated calipers, Neken handlebars and larger footpegs.
The outgoing generation of GasGas enduro bikes was already super-agile through the trees and super stable at higher speeds. However, thanks to the new motors across the range that are both lighter and more powerful, the handling characteristics are amplified further!
This was achieved by engineers repositioning the motors inside the new frames to centralise weight and balance things out a little better. Sounds like a small change, but it’s something that’s expected to be noticeable out on the trails.
The new EC 450F and EC 500F are both big-bore bikes that are more suited to open-going and flowy trails, but feature all the same top-level components as the rest of the range, including enduro-specific PANKL transmissions.
For 2024, the GasGas enduro range will include the EC 250, EC 300, EC 250F, EC 350F, EC 450F and EC 500F, providing more options for riders to Get On The Gas!
Those enduro models will be shipping to authorised GasGas dealerships in Australia from November. For more information, visit www.gasgas.com to discover the complete details on the new models and much more from the brand.
