Returning from knee-injury in Todd Waters-led team for 2023.
The signing of MX2 contender Blake Fox to Raceline Husqvarna Berry Sweet Racing has finally been made official, set to join team owner/MX1 rider Todd Waters in the outfit’s 2023 Penrite ProMX Championship program.
Highly-rated 18-year-old Fox had his debut MX2 season brought to a premature end with a knee injury last year, and makes the switch to the FC 250 for the upcoming season after competing in 2022 with the GasGas Racing Team.
“It’s obviously a really good opportunity to have Todd alongside me and also to be riding within his team, so the pre-season has been good – I get along great with everyone on the team and have been enjoying it a lot,” Fox explained. “I’m looking forward to round one, have been on the bike since the end of December and am feeling as fit – if not fitter – than ever before. The new 2023 FC 250 has been unreal so far and now I’m excited to get to Wonthaggi and to start the ProMX season.”
Also featuring as part of the Raceline Husqvarna Berry Sweet Racing team are MX3 duo Jack Mather and Liam Owens, the emerging young racers receiving assistance in a development-type role within the program aboard their FC 250s this season.
The scheduled eight-round 2023 Australian ProMX Championship will commence this Sunday, 5 March, at Wonthaggi, Victoria.
