A Honda Red Nation Demo Day is set for Queensland Moto Park (QMP) this month, with a variety of CRF platforms available to try at the venue on 11 December.
On the day there will be CRF450R, CRF250R, CRF125F, CRF125FB, CRF110 and CRF50’s available for test rides, and all test rides are free with the first session commencing at 9am and the last at 2:45pm. The adult bikes and the fun bikes will be ridden on two separate tracks.
Riders must supply their own gear and it must be in safe working order. Full PPE is required which includes- off-road motorcycle riding boots, knee guards, mx gloves, nylon pants, helmet, goggles and either a motocross jacket or body armour and jersey – without exception.
Riders are allowed two sessions on two different bikes (eg – 1 x session 450cc and 1 x session 250cc), and Honda will supply a one-day licence for all riders, sign in for this will be required.
The minimum age is six to try the CRF50, and 10 for the CRF100 with prior experience required to test any of the bikes, including the ‘fun bikes’.
The minimum age is 10 for 110cc.
It is a condition of entry to the complex that children under 16 must be supervised by an adult parent or Guardian at all times, and there will be a Honda indemnity form and a Motorcycling Australia license form to be signed and complete to take part.
No food is available at the track, but riders are encouraged to bring their own lunch and drinks. Attendees are highly encouraged to have appropriate ambulance cover, but in case of an accident, there will be medical personnel attending on the day.
