American angle for newly-introduced motocross and supercross website.
Leading website brand MotoOnline will expand to operate as an international media outlet from 2020, formally launching MotoOnline.com ahead of this Saturday’s opening round of Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship.
MotoOnline was founded in 2009, going on to become one of the most highly-regarded dirt bike websites within Australia and internationally under the MotoOnline.com.au domain owned by Australian company Foremost Media.
For 2020, the brand new MotoOnline.com website will primarily focus on American supercross and motocross in what is anticipated to be one of the most competitive seasons on record. MotoOnline.com.au will also continue to operate separately and publish dirt bike content from an Australian perspective.
“We celebrated our 10-year milestone for MotoOnline.com.au over the past 12 months and this international expansion through the MotoOnline.com domain is a logical step for the business,” explained MotoOnline founder Alex Gobert. “I’m extremely passionate about the brand that we’ve been able to establish over the past decade, so this is a remarkable moment for everybody associated.
“In my previous career as a rider I spent much of my professional journey in America, so it’s fitting that we now take on this challenge in launching a US-focused website. This initial stage of the project has been in the works for almost a full year now and main the goal at this point is to become a go-to source for Supercross and Pro Motocross news.”
MotoOnline.com will also extend to cover motocross and supercross from a global standpoint including the MXGP World Championship, in addition to off-season coverage led by the Motocross of Nations, Monster Energy Cup, Red Bull Straight Rhythm, international supercross events and more.
Plans are currently being put in place to carry out bike and product testing within the US, plus a broad calendar of events have been scheduled for 2020 as phase one of the MotoOnline.com project is rolled out. Further website developments will also be completed throughout the initial season of operation.
