Affordable helmet packed with protective and comfort features.
Bell Powersports Australia recently unveiled its 2020 range of motorcycle helmets, including its affordable MX-9 that boasts MIPS technology.
The motocross favourite MX-9 helmet has been upgraded with the Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) for greater protection from angled and rotational impact at speed. MIPS is a leading slip-plane technology inside the helmet designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts.
Using advanced flow dynamics modelling, precise port placement and internal channelling, Bell engineers have created a powerful natural engine that sucks cool air through the front of the helmet, circulated it over the rider’s head and blows warm flow out the back, keeping the riders cool and dry
With no centre mount screw on the visor, the energy of an impact is channelled through the flexible visor acting as a crumple zone and away from the helmet and riders head.
Quick Flip Visor Screws make on the fly visor adjustment a simple task even with gloves on. The absence of the centre attachment point allows uninterrupted airflow over the top of the helmet, improving the function of its ventilation system.
2020 Bell MX-9 MIPS helmet key features:
– MIPS technology,
– Lightweight polycarbonate composite shell.
– Three shell and EOS design for small overall size and personalised fit.
– Velocity Flow Ventilation.
– Flying Bridge Visor.
Priced from RRP $259.95, the 2020 Bell MX-9 MIPS range is now available at dealerships and online retailers across the country. For more information, visit www.bellhelmets.com.
