Popular helmet fitted with MIPS technology now available in fresh colourways.
Bell Powersports Australia recently unveiled its 2020 range of motorcycle helmets, including its Moto-9 MIPS model that offers exceptional protection and comfort.
The legendary Moto-9 continues to dominate motocross tracks around the globe. Bell has added MIPS energy-absorbing technology to the proven performer, enhancing already stellar protection.
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is a leading slip-plane technology inside the helmet designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts. The MIPS technology is paired with a Tri-Matrix composite shell, which is a proprietary mix of aramid, carbon fibre, and fiberglass that delivers all the strength of carbon fibre in a more budget-protecting package.
Woven synthetic fibers have long been proven to be some of the most practical solutions where lightweight strength is required. Our Tri-Matrix shell utilises the combined power and superior characteristics of these race-proven synthetics, offering unmatched strength and durability.
The Velocity Flow Ventilation system uses advanced flow dynamics modeling, precise port placement and internal channeling. Bell engineers have created a powerful natural engine that sucks cool air through the front of the helmet, circulated it over the rider’s head and blows warm flow out the back, keeping the riders cool and dry
Magnefusion magnetic cheek pads allow for easy removal of the pads for washing, and enable emergency responders to easily remove the cheek pads first before removing the helmet following an impact.
The X-Static XT2 Silver liner is a leader in antimicrobial fabric technology – X-Static material is clinically-proven to provide bacteria and odor protection throughout the life of the liner. X-Static fibers are permanently bonded with a layer of 99.9 percent pure metallic silver.
With no centre mount screw on the visor, the energy of an impact is channeled through the flexible visor acting as a crumple zone and away from the helmet and riders head.
Quick Flip Visor Screws make on the fly visor adjustment a simple task even with gloves on. The absence of the center attachment point allows uninterrupted airflow over the top of the helmet, improving the function of its ventilation system.
Designed for a safer removal of the helmet through the use of an inflatable bag installed in the helmet, the Bell Moto-9 MIPS offers a recessed pocket for a snug fit of Eject systems.
Priced from RRP $649.95, the 2020 Bell Moto-9 MIPS range is now available at dealerships and online retailers across the country. For more information, visit www.bellhelmets.com.
