Factory KTM rider lands top three outright result in New South Wales.
KTM Enduro Racing Team’s Lyndon Snodgrass says he’s starting to feel at home in the E1 category after coming off a commanding win at Broken Hill’s seventh round of the 2019 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) last weekend.
The Victorian rode strongly all weekend, qualifying fourth outright before putting on a charge in Sunday’s cross-country, storming to third outright aboard the KTM 250 EXC-F while claiming top honours in the E1 division – his second class triumph of the season.
“Today was good and I knew what we had to do, so I managed to come through and grab the class win, as well as an overall podium,” Snodgrass recalled.
“We’re going forward on the KTM 250 EXC-F all the time, working hard to get as comfortable as I can and I’m really starting to feel at home in E1. Finishing up there outright this weekend in the desert really shows how strong the bike is on a really fast, sketchy track!”
Snodgrass is now positioned second in the championship standings – 10 points shy of leader Luke Styke (Active8 Yamaha Yamalube Racing) – as the AORC heads to Coonalpyn in South Australia on 31 August-1 September.
