Australian MX2 champion Wilson Todd has been drafted into the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM squad for Fox Raceway’s second round of the 2019 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

Todd made a strong impression at Hangtown’s season-opener, piloting a borrowed KTM 250 SX-F from Max Lee – the son of TLD’s founder Troy Lee.

The current MX Nationals MX2 points leader put on a fine display at round one, lodging 15-9 results for 12th overall, establishing himself in the highly-competitive 250MX field.

Todd’s opportunity with the factory-backed outfit comes as team rookie Mitchell Falk broke his collarbone at the opener and will be benched for undetermined amount of time as he recovers.
