Japanese brand showcases motocross concept bike for the first time.
Honda Motor Company has a CR Electric prototype motocross bike on display at this weekend’s Tokyo Motorcycle Show in Japan.
While information on the concept model remains limited at this point, photos of the bike that surfaced on Friday have quickly spread online.
Based upon its four-stroke CRF450R and CRF250R range and race-proven components, the words ‘Electric Proto’ effectively confirm this is Honda’s first publicly-shown electric-powered dirt bike.
Appearing to be utilising a water-cooled electric motor, the revolutionary new Honda CR Electric prototype also boasts Showa suspension front and rear, D.I.D rims, Nissin brakes and Renthal handlebars/grips.
