Milner, Sanders, Higlett and Styke share individual class honours.
KTM Enduro Racing Team’s Daniel Milner has dominated rounds five and six of the 2018 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) at Dungog in New South Wales.
Reigning national champion Milner was untouched on his KTM 500 EXC-F across both days of Enduro format action, excelling in dry and dusty conditions.
That form saw him maintain his perfect season in the E3 division, while also leading the way outright following six rounds. Milner topped his class over Lachlan Stanford (Husqvarna Enduro Racing Team) and Scott Keegan (KTM) on both days.
In E2 it was Husqvarna Enduro Racing Team’s Daniel Sanders who once again did the double in class, but he wasn’t able to match Milner when it came to the unofficial outright honours. On both Saturday and Sunday, Sanders led Josh Green (Active8 Yamalube Yamaha) and Lyndon Snodgrass (KTM Enduro Racing Team) on the podium.
The E3 category saw newcomer Fraser Higlett (Husqvarna Enduro Racing Team) rise for his first win of the season in round five, defeating Luke Styke (Active8 Yamalube Yamaha) and Jack Simpson (KTM). Sunday saw points-leader Styke turn it around, joined on the podium by Higlett and Jeremy Carpentier (Yamaha MX Store Ballards Off-Road Team).
Reigning EJ champion Michael Driscoll (Active8 Yamalube Yamaha) won both days in class, while in the Women’s it was Jess Gardiner (Yamaha MX Store Ballards Off-Road Team) who won on Saturday, before Emelie Karlsson rode her Yamaha to victory on Sunday.
