Australian contender recovers from broken scapular.
Popular Australian Hayden Mellross will return to the gates this weekend at Muddy Creek’s fifth round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship after being sidelined for a number of rounds.
Drafted into the CycleTrader Rock River Yamaha squad for the outdoors, Mellross’ campaign came to halt at the Hangtown’s season-opener when a fall left in moto one left the 250MX contender with a broken scapular.
It prompted the New South Welshman to sit out rounds two, three and four, allowing him to adequately recover from the injury ahead of Saturday’s event.
Mellross confirmed his attendance via social media, stating: “Ready or not, here we come. Beyond excited to get back racing again this weekend.”
