Factory Husqvarna rider confident ahead of favoured Murray Bridge round.
DPH Motorsport Husqvarna’s Kade Mosig believes putting himself in a stronger track position from the beginning of each race will promote greater consistency in finishing with the lead group following a mixed start to his 2018 Pirelli MX Nationals campaign.
At Wonthaggi’s double-header, Mosig wound up seventh and third overall throughout the two rounds, with his performance providing a boost of confidence heading into this weekend’s fifth stop at Murray Bridge in South Australia.
“It felt great to be on the podium in Wonthaggi on a really physically demanding race weekend,” Mosig explained. “I gained a lot of confidence coming through the field on Saturday too, showing that my program is working and I just need to keep my focus, put myself in good positions from the start and continue to work hard.
“I like Murray Bridge, and depending on how they decide to prep the track, it could become a fast, demanding race track, and I’m ready for it.”
The popular Victorian is currently positioned sixth in the championship standings, just one point shy of the top five as the 10-round series hits the halfway mark on Sunday.
