Leg injuries sideline Webb for undetermined period of time.
Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing has confirmed Josh Hill will return to the squad for two more appearances at the Salt Lake City and Las Vegas rounds of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.
Hill, who came out of retirement at the Seattle round to fill-in for Justin Barcia, has been called back into the team to replace regular Cooper Webb, who suffered a fractured tibia and fibula at the Minneapolis stop.
In a mud-filled night, Hill charged to 21st position in the main event after an early fall, marking his first supercross since the 2015 season.
Webb’s injuries are expected to sideline him for a significant amount of time, meaning he’ll likely miss a large portion of the upcoming Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, which is due to commence on 19 May at the popular Hangtown circuit in Sacramento.
