Last weekend saw the second round of the 2018 New Zealand Motocross Championship contested at Rotorua, where former national champion Kirk Gibbs claimed his first overall of the season. The South Australian won two of the three motos as part of CML KTM, currently second in the standings with two rounds remaining.
