Kawasaki Europe’s Harrie van Hout commented: “I’m really looking forward to start working with Jed in a few weeks when he is back from Australia. I believe he has a lot off potential since the first day I saw him riding last March in the sand. I think he showed us and the world what he’s capable off doing at the last MXGP in France.”
Beaton won the Australian MX2 championship in 2016 prior to heading to Europe full-time, his campaign highlighted by a breakthrough podium result of third overall in the French season finale at Villars Sous Ecot.
