Australia shifts into second as France continues to lead ISDE on day two

Team Australia has moved into second position in the World Trophy standings following a positive second day at the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Brive, France.

Team France continues to lead the premier category after a strong showing on home soil, as Finland dropped to third behind the Aussie squad.

KTM Motocross Racing Team’s Daniel Milner proved to be one of the best performers for the green and gold, moving to first in the overall E2 standings, as compatriots Daniel Sanders (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Matthew Phillips (CH Racing Sherco) were fourth and fifth respectively in E3.

Yamalube Active8 Yamaha’s Josh Green also had a strong day, advancing to eighth in the E1 division overall results.

In the Junior category, Australia’s opening day misfortunes continued with the absence of Michael Dricsol (Yamaha) and Wil Ruprecht (Yamalube Active8 Yamaha), although Lyndon Snodgrass pulled through to maintain 12th in E3.

As Australia sits 16th in the division, Team USA soared to the lead, edging out France and Italy for the top spot on day two.

In the Women’s class, Team Australia gained the lead for the first time in the 2017 edition to beat home Team USA and Team France. Tayla Jones (Yamaha) was fastest for the second day running, followed by Jeesica Gardiner (Yamaha) and Jemma Wilson (Yamaha).
