Pro Circuit Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo broke through for his maiden victory in the 250MX category last weekend at Budds Creek’s 11th round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

The youthful talent strung together an impressive 1-2 scorecard at the penultimate round, which saw him take the win with a comfortable nine-point margin.

Cianciarulo mentioned the victory was an emotional one after enduring several challenging seasons marred by injuries, expressing his optimism in continuing his winning form into this weekend’s season finale.

“It was pretty emotional to get that first moto win and then to get the overall was the best feeling,” Cianciarulo commented. “To be so close and not able to even podium has been tough to swallow, but I never gave up.

“I have an amazing group behind me encouraging me and pushing me to be better. It’s great to keep the good results going for the team. We’ll see what happens next week, but I think we’ve found something and will hopefully have a great final round.”

The long-time Kawasaki backed rider also revealed at the post-race press conference that he will continue on with the Pro Circuit Monster Energy outfit after signing what is believed to be a multi-year contract extension.
